Josephine Walker is a Senior Solicitor specialising in Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning and the Administration of Estates and Trusts.  She joined the practice in 2016 and has many years experience in a variety of legal roles with other local firms.

Josephine is the Head of our Private Client Department overseeing a specialist team of solicitors and paralegals who offer a wide range of private client services such as Wills, the administration of Estates, preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorneys and applications to the Court of Protection.

As both a Solicitor and a Trust and Estate Practitioner (T.E.P.) she often deals with complex Estates of those who have died. Josephine also assists individuals and families planning for the future by offering tax planning advice and preparation of essential documents including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

She also advises families whose loved ones may have already lost the ability to look after their own financial affairs by making applications to the Court of Protection to ensure someone is appointed to manage their finances.

Josephine and her department pride themselves on being approachable and friendly, providing professional, specialised and often complex advice in a language accessible to all of our clients.

Given the nature of Josephine’s work, she understands the importance of offering home visits to the elderly and infirm.  Josephine is also a fully accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly).
